Trend lines and channel lines
Lines of a trend (trend line) break space of price on two areas.

1. Area, in which finding the price within the limits of an existing trend is most possibly.

2. Area, transition of the price in which signals about the changing of an existing trend.

Line of a trend is an original watershed; crossing this watershed by the price signals about the change of a direction of a trend. On an ascending trend the line of a trend is under construction as a line of support, and on a descending trend as a line of resistance. Really, while on an ascending trend the price will not cross a line of a trend (a line of support) it is impossible to speak that the given trend has ended and has begun the descending or lateral trends. The same as on a descending trend only crossing by a line of a trend (a line of resistance) gives the basis to believe, that the descending trend has ended and the ascending or lateral trend has begun.

Line of the channel (channel line) - is a line parallel to a line of a trend, and constructed so that within the limits of an existing trend all the prices have been concluded between a line of a trend and a line of the channel.

The channel formed as a result of carrying out several parallel lines (trend line and channel line), is an optimum range of trading changes. The direction of the channel downwards, upwards or sideways defines the tendency of the market. In case the prices are moving between two parallel direct lines (lines of the channel), it is possible to speak the prices about the presence of the ascending (descending or horizontal) channel. At revealing the fact of a finding of the price in the certain price channel the problem of the trader in reception of profit noticeably becomes simpler, as opening of positions in a direction of a trend at reflection of the price from a line of a trend is an ideal input in the market.

While closing of the positions at the approach of the price to a line of the channel allows receiving the maximal profit and this is the optimal point for fixing profit. At an output of the price from the price channel it passes in a direction of an output of 60-80 % of width of the price channel. This circumstance also can be used by the trader.

Construction of the lines of a trend, the lines of support and resistance, the lines of the channel and levels has subjective character. Each person sees this or that phenomenon in own way. At such subjective approach the quantity of the lines and levels can be huge, while real lines will be much less, than you have constructed.
